I got this stool because at 66 getting up from the ground gets more difficult with each passing year. What impressed me about the design was its compact size and ability to swivel.
Took it on its maiden adventure to Mount Cardigan in southern New Hampshire, and it didn’t disappoint. Fit easily into my pack and never noticed the added weight. When it came time for use it folded out smoothly and quickly. No tussling or fighting to get poles into pockets, just seconds to assemble.
It is the perfect height for rummaging in my pack, managing the stove and cooking, as well as relaxing while eating.
Collapsing and packing up was a breeze. Took less than a minute to fold up and slip into the travel bag, once you figure the proper positioning of the seat flaps.
Do I recommend it, a resounding YES!
